PhotoMind for Mac 是本机照片与视频搜索、整理工具。无需注册账号，没有广告或开发者运营的分析服务，不向开发者上传照片、视频、搜索词、人物特征或相册索引。搜索用的场景模型在第一次需要时下载：macOS 26 及更新版本从 Apple 的 App Store 服务器下载；macOS 14–25 从开发者使用的模型托管服务下载同一套模型文件。下载只请求模型文件，不附带照片、视频、搜索词、设备标识或账号信息；托管服务会收到提供下载所需的连接信息（例如 IP 地址），按其自身规则处理。下载后的文件在本机校验，可离线使用。

经你授权，应用使用 Apple PhotoKit 访问系统照片图库中允许访问的照片、视频及拍摄日期、尺寸、时长、收藏状态和已有位置等元数据。照片访问可在 macOS 系统设置中更改。应用对本机可取得的内容进行分析，不能保证所有云端资产已经准备完成。Apple 可能按你的 Photos 和 iCloud 设置下载原片或管理缓存；这些系统服务由 Apple 提供。

Finder 文件仅在你通过文件选择器或拖入主动选择后读取。导入会将支持的照片与视频复制到系统照片图库，原文件保持不变；已导入的副本由 Photos 管理，并可能随 iCloud 照片设置同步。取消导入会停止后续批次，已经完成的导入会保留。

在“文件夹与移动硬盘”里，应用只读取你选择的文件夹或移动硬盘中的照片文件，在本机计算文件指纹和画面特征来找出重复与相似的照片；文件夹的访问授权（安全书签）和扫描结果保存在应用的本机私有存储，不会上传。删除这些文件需要你确认，能放进废纸篓的会放进废纸篓；没有废纸篓的磁盘会先提示文件将被永久删除。在该页面选择“不再扫描这个文件夹”，应用就会删除它的访问授权。

识别文字、图像特征、抽样视频分析、资产标识、搜索索引、标签、命名地点及审核决定保存在应用的本机私有存储。地点功能使用媒体已有坐标，不请求实时定位，不执行在线逆地理编码。

人物功能在本机检测人脸并生成相似匹配用的数值特征，保存你添加的姓名、昵称、已确认样本与纠正决定；只使用你手动确认的人脸作为参考，不保存独立人脸裁剪图片。这些数据不会传送给开发者或第三方。你可以在人物管理中删除标记。这项功能用于个人相册整理，不用于身份验证，结果可能有误。

缩略图保留在内存中。压缩、视频裁剪、Live Photo 静态转换、保存、分享或拖出时，应用可能建立临时媒体文件，并按任务生命周期清理。你主动保存或导入的副本成为系统照片图库中的独立内容，或由你选择的接收应用保管。仅关闭应用不会删除已保存的副本。

删除照片或视频需要你的明确确认，并遵循 Apple Photos 的规则。删除可能同步到开启 iCloud 照片的其他设备；恢复、最近删除和实际释放空间由系统管理。导出副本本身不修改原件；若转换流程提供删除原件选项，仍需要另行确认。

偏好、索引与人物数据保存在本机。移除人物标记或其他整理记录可通过相应管理界面进行。macOS 将应用移入废纸篓不一定同时移除沙盒数据；如果要彻底清除本机记录，请联系支持获取对应版本的数据清理指引，或通过你信任的系统管理方式移除该应用的数据。系统照片图库原件和主动保存的副本不随索引清理而删除。系统备份、Time Machine 或你自行创建的备份按你的设置管理，清除当前记录不会自动清除旧备份。

你主动使用系统分享、拖出、隐私/支持网页或邮件时，接收应用、浏览器、Apple 与邮箱服务商会按各自规则处理你选择的内容和必要连接信息。网页托管服务可能接收访问该网页所需的连接信息；应用不会向该网页发送相册内容。通过支持邮件提供的信息只用于处理你的请求，请不要发送无关照片或敏感数据。开发者不能删除其他服务提供方或你自行备份的数据。

PhotoMind for Mac searches and organizes photos and videos on your Mac. It requires no account, contains no advertising or developer-operated analytics, and does not upload photos, videos, queries, face features or library indexes to the developer. The scene models used for search are downloaded the first time they are needed: on macOS 26 and later from Apple's App Store servers, and on macOS 14–25 from the model hosting service the developer uses, which serves the same model files. These requests ask only for model files and carry no photos, videos, queries, device identifiers or account information; the hosting service receives the connection data needed to serve the download (such as the IP address) and handles it under its own policies. Downloaded files are verified on your Mac and then work offline.

With your permission, PhotoMind uses Apple PhotoKit to access authorized content in the system Photos library, including capture dates, dimensions, duration, favorites and existing location metadata. You can change photo access in macOS System Settings. Analysis uses content available locally; cloud-only items are not assumed to be ready. Apple may download originals or manage caches according to your Photos and iCloud settings.

Files from Finder are read only after you choose them through the file picker or drag them into the app. Import copies supported photos and videos into the system Photos library and leaves the source files unchanged. Imported copies are managed by Photos and may sync through iCloud Photos. Cancelling stops later batches; imports already completed remain in Photos.

In Folders & Drives, PhotoMind reads only the photo files in the folders or drives you choose, and computes file fingerprints and visual features on your Mac to find duplicate and similar photos. Folder access grants (security-scoped bookmarks) and scan results stay in private local app storage and are not uploaded. Deleting these files requires your confirmation and moves them to the Trash where the drive has one; on a drive without a Trash, the app first tells you the files will be deleted permanently. Choosing Stop Scanning This Folder on that screen deletes its access grant.

Recognized text, visual features, sampled video analysis, asset identifiers, indexes, labels, named places and review decisions remain in private local app storage. Place labels use coordinates already present in media. PhotoMind does not request live location or perform online reverse geocoding.

People features detect faces and compute matching features locally. The app stores the names, aliases, confirmed samples and corrections you provide. Only faces you manually confirm become reference samples. Separate cropped face images are not retained. These records are not sent to the developer or third parties, and labels can be removed in people management. This organizes your personal library; it is not identity authentication and may be incorrect.

Thumbnails are held in memory. Compression, video clipping, Live Photo still conversion, saving, sharing and dragging files out may create temporary media files, which are cleaned up as their tasks finish. Copies you choose to save or import remain as separate Photos assets or with your chosen receiving app. Closing PhotoMind does not remove saved copies.

Deleting media requires your explicit confirmation and follows Apple Photos rules. Deletion may sync to other devices through iCloud Photos; recovery, Recently Deleted and actual space reclamation are controlled by the system. Exporting a copy does not modify the original. If a conversion offers removal of originals, that requires separate confirmation.

Preferences, indexes and people records are stored locally. Use the relevant management screen to remove people labels or other organization records. Moving a Mac app to the Trash does not necessarily remove its sandbox data. To remove all local app records, contact support for instructions for your version or use a trusted system-management method to remove the app's data. Clearing an index does not delete originals or saved copies in Photos. System backups, Time Machine and copies you create follow your settings; removing current records does not automatically remove previous backups.

When you choose system sharing, drag files out, open privacy or support pages, or send email, the receiving app, browser, Apple and email provider handle your chosen content and necessary connection data under their own policies. Website hosts may receive connection data needed to serve those pages; PhotoMind does not send library content to them. Information you send to support is used to address your request. Please avoid unnecessary photos or sensitive information. The developer cannot delete data held by independent providers or in your own backups.
